On the surface it may appear that the NY cartel is still in full control but cracks are appearing.

First off, on Mondays when the PPT is fully active, silver managed to establish a beachhead against the suppressors for more than a few seconds above the $20 level. This is something that could not be achieved last week despite multiple attempts. Attacking silver at the end of the day in low volume is not a sign of strength but of weakness and desperation.

The silver shares were not allowed to join the beachhead party as most if not all of them were naked shorted to death today. Again, this action wreaks of cartel desperation because we all know that if the shares participated, the party would go nuclear in short order.

The USD also fell sharply today, which is not a sign of strength for any currency but especially not for the supposed safe haven reserve currency.

All in all, it may appear that we are the desperate ones but the NY cartel's grip on silver may just be loosening to red alert status. With silver share/metal fundamentals improving daily and investor participation rising in the silver sector, the odds of long-term NY cartel success is slowly fading away. As Engineer Scott used to say in desperate times..."She canna take anymore Captain - she's gonna blow".
