Using the numbers in the news release, the 10,000 tonnes which has already shipped should contain 6,425 ounces of gold. At current prices, this is $8,172,600. If we assume we are receiving 64 cents on the dollar, this is $5,230,464 worth of revenue. This is a huge shot of adrenalin into ECU's finances. By comparison, we bought the oxide mill for $8 million. I do not know if we also will receive payment for the silver content of the gold pyrite. I like the way that ECU acomplishes major tasks without fanfare or setbacks. Just the logistics of shipping 10,000 tonnes of rock is a big deal since it would fill 500 dump trucks at 20 tonnes each and 100 railroad cars at 100 tonnes each.

Going forward, the sales of 1,500 to 2,000 tonnes of gold pyrite per month should add $784,570 to $ $1,046,090 in revenues per month using current gold prices. Annualized, this is huge and is probably why ECU's share price is breaking out today.
