Not sure if this will turn out to be an extraordinary coincidence or simply just another day, but I stumbled on this bit of trivial information that might be of interest to a few of the long timers.
It was five years ago today (September 15, 2005) that ECU surged from $0.265 to $0.305 on just under 1 million shares traded. This breakout from a 18-month consolidation would turn out to be the first day of a multi-month bull run that would eventually see the share price increase ten fold over 6 months.
Here's hoping patterns repeat!
