Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
I think both Scoutaz and MajorD are correct on some shorting. I note that I normally consider Anonymous to be mostly TD Bank action and it's a known fact that at least one of TD's proprietary trading desks trades ECU actively and has for years. I saw both TD and Anon active in yesterday's number at key critical times and in volume and then this morning Anon was there at the open and sold over 200,000 shares. The real surprising thing this morning was that TD was not there at the open and I can't remember a day in the last many years that TD wasn't there at the open so the conclusion is they were their at the open under Anonymous.
I also note that RBC had their usual 20,000 shares sold at the open (order placed at around 7:30 AM every morning so likely a European order) and they have been doing this for about 6 weeks, every single day and this has helped set the open price which should have been higher on some of those days.
The only way to overcome these manipulative actions is to buy stock, new buyers coming on board and place bids to make the computers trade more with us than against us.
