Thanks for your continued input. I see and hear that $30 silver price in the 1980's all the time. One thing you must remember is that the Hunt Brothers were trying to corner the entire silver market and were actually taking delivery in armored cars. If you look at a chart the runnup was for a very short period of time. I think the Hunt brother runnup in the 1980's is not a good barometer of what silver might do. jmho.
