How would you like to have ECU at 20 dollars a share, but lawless roving bands of hoodlums roaming all the neighborhoods of America stealing with impunity? It is either get robbed/deceived by the elitist quietly/antiseptically to keep stability or get stolen from by the lawless masses by violence, intimidation and chaos. That is the choices that present themselves now. Very soon now there will be paper flight(all forms of paper) when the emperor is realized to have no clothes.

When they cannot payout the extended benefits anymore, how long before these people hit the streets? Do you really think that things will get better in the near term with our situation? Will restaurants/bars/entertainment/Christmas shopping be on the rise this quarter? I think not. We are in serious doo-doo and their goal is only to get us to the other side of the elections before telling us.

Meredith Whitney now says that we need 1 trillion to bail out the states within the next 12 months. Pension funds are underfunded by 1 trillion, real estate is expected to continue melting down another 10 to 20 percent. All major banks have been papered over but are still hopelessly insolvent. Where will this money come from now? The pulick does not have the stomach for more bailouts.

Our government has only one choice - deception..... Continue to dumb down the public, lie, misinform, deny, obfuscate and manipulate..... and meanwhile clandestinely be executing QE2 behind the scenes. After November 2 they can then come out of the closet. (Notice that the Fed meeting is scheduled to end on November 3rd)

This is coming to head this year and will play out completely in the next two years. These events are all symptomatic of the death throes of an empire.

That is a bit dramatic, but does it make sense now that they do not want to spark a gold rush right now and must do whatever to shut it down ?????
