Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
In reading over some of Mr. Ecclestone's "analyses" this evening and apart from passing judgment upon the validity or accuracy of his observations or lack thereof, something else struck me. There is a certain quality to his verbiage, difficult to put a finger on or define, but characterized by an unusual emotional tone which in my experience is most uncustomary in these types of reports.
It is as though the comments are penned with, dare I say it, an "agenda." I came to this conclusion prior to reading the comments of others who have labeled him a hack of no redeeming credibility.
Therefore, I would take what he says with a very large grain of salt.
ECU has the goods, has excellent and honest management of high integrity (essential) and is transitioning from an explorer to a producer while yet continuing to prove up ever increasing amounts of gold and silver.
Doubtless, the company's share price is presently greatly depressed, a fact that rankles us all, but that this state of affairs can last much longer in the face of increasing bullion prices, increased discoveries and production and greater recognition by the investing community is highly unlikely.
I have recently increased my stake in ECU and am considering doing so again. For whatever it's worth the company has my continuing vote of confidence.
