I've finally convinced my mother to move some of her savings into gold/silver. Is there a fund that has a conservative basket of gold stocks/etf's etc that would be good for someone nearing retirement? I don't want to advise her to buy specific stocks due to the risk factor, so if there is something safe but still in the precious metals, I'd love to hear about it. I will get her to buy some silver bullion. :)
