Margin increases

The CME group an hour ago said they are raising margin prices on the COMEX gold contracts too. The original Reuters artical on the silver margin increase said the margin was going up from $5,000/oz to $6,500/oz. Thats some pretty expensive margin. Obviously the price is per contract, not per ounce. Either someone at the CME group or at Reuters does not have a clue.
