I called my good friend who is a major bulion dealer. He has been doing most of his business in gold for quite a while. There has been a very large shift into silver lately. He has many resources and silver eagles are on occation very hard to get. that has happened a few times in the past. But generic silver rounds have had some days where sources had no generic 1oz rounds.

To me that is the first sign of J6P waking up to the metals and in particular silver. The customers who ordered six figure $s worth at a time are still mostly buying gold as measured by total price per order. But things are changing with more small order customers and there are very few public sellers even as we get to these lofty prices for gold and silver..
