Hi scoutaz_2003
I'm with sinbob. Numbers sound kind of crazily high.
Last year I questioned the Canadian Government on its gold holdings, and on 6 Jan this year I received a pdf reply.
In the reply, a Mr. Bryan Parker - Head - Departmental Correspondent Unit, stated that Canada presently hold 100,000 ounces of gold at a value then of approx. $127 million $'s CAN. This is within the numbers published by the IMF re: gold holdings by all members of the IMF.
He also directed me to the government website - www.fin.gc.ca/activity/oirrep/oir09-eng.pdf in order to see for myself how these reserves are managed (Report on the Management of Canada's official International Reserves: April 1, 2008-March 31,2009).
Seems to me that either Canadian Freeman posts proof of documentation found, or else it is just another pie-in-the-sky comment meant to stir up some negative publicity.
Good Luck to all!
