I believe it was a broker who worked out of Toronto. He apparently hedged his bet so there was no risk (or very little) for him.

Still given that this call was made 10 years or so ago when Gold was stuck at $250, it was one hell of a great call.

It probably wont be there on January 14, but me thinks, Gold at $2000 by June 2011 (Silver $60).
