It's nice to be patient while holding stocks but in my case with ECU it's been close to 8 years most of them very frustrating. During the past few days I finally took what seemed like a mature decision which will see me reduce my overexposure to PM investment (above 80% of my portfolio which in retropesct is totally ridiculous).
I still have a ton of respect for the likes of Sinclair, Embry, the folks at GATA and a bunch of others. They have misss the mark on PM prices and specially the shares by a wide margin probably because they have based their analysis on past experience and more or less normal market conditions. While all of them have a great read on the macro economic situation and its effect on PM's they mostly have underestimated the corrupt system we now live in and the resolve of the financial elite to keep a tight lid on the situation and the control they exert on the markets.
It's basically like living under a dictatorship which annoys everybody except a small insider group but it can keep going for a very long time. Of course one day it will implode but I will not hold my breath over that moment given that I might not have any left other than the one coming from my oxygen bottle when I turn 88..
