How are the sheeple expected to get the big picture, or any picture for that matter?

The regional TV station has thankfully stopped giving glib one sentance explanations about why the Can$, DJIA, Gold, and Oil behaved like they did during the trading day. Now they just give the closing numbers. Thankfully these data are only shown for about 10 seconds. That is the extent of financial news. This station is viewed by millions of viewers nightly.

Today, for example, gold was shown to be up $23 to $1346.

Geesh.
