One question, can you give me your take on what happened the day before, when it was first announced Mubarak was going to step down in the evening, but surprised many by being somewhat defiant and saying he was staying on, then, of course, changing his tune the next day.

Some sort of stalling tactic? Needed a bit more time to get his affairs, nefarious or otherwise, in order? I figure you'd have as good a perspective on that as anyone.
