Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
I don't just feel ECU is undervalued it is way out of whack compared to what some might say. For instance. Goldcorp is a 43.67 stock on the nyse. Secondly it is also on the tsx at 43.13. Now let's look at this again. If ECU has more inferred resources than Goldcorp how can we be at these levels? Is it management? I don't think so , but that is a posssibility. Is it U.S. owned? Not really if they are drilling themselves in the same country as ECU is. So what is it?
First of all I would like to say is good management only means you have friends in higher places. You know like the Fed and JPM, Goldman, and others we all know about. Secondly Goldcorp has financial statements readily for all to see. This makes it easier for the comman man to undermind the assets of the company. This is something we do not have. And yes I know we are a exploration company. But the fact is we are mining and Goldcorp isn't. This has always been a problem for me to understand.
When it comes to value without a doubt ECU has the goods to continue to grow much higher than it is now. ECU is far from a 3 to 4 dollar stock if you look at both companies surpluses. Then is it management? So if we got this guy from Goldcorp are stock should be 55.00 if Goldcorp isn't even mining and hasn't got the inferred resources we have. Should they?
So what is the real answer to this question? Bad management, we aren't on the nyse, for some odd reason Goldcorp's silver is worth more in Mexico than ECU? I bought in this company when it didn't even have a 43/101 report at higher than 2.00 a share. So when I hear that ECU is undervalued to the the tune of 3.00 to 4.00 a share and Goldcorp is 43.00 a share I get irate. Without a doubt ECU should be on solid ground right now at the tune of at least 15.00 a share. Oh did I also forget that silver was only 13.50 a ounce when I bought in. We are now bouncing around at 30,00 a ounce.
So I'm no real analylist but I can see something is out of whack to hear the conclusions why ECU is still fighting the tide. I do believe it is undervalued, but come on 3 to 4 dollars a share price. That isn't even 20% of Goldcorp price. The smart money should be in ECU. But as any wise person would they look at the whole picture, Goldcorp has real financial statememnts. And it is obvious that someone has some good connections. Now if I am wrong please lets put it on the table but the calculations is like saying the U.S. dollar is worth more than it is. And we all know that is not true.
