The Alpha site show bids and asks and you can see the 10 most recent trades by house and price traded andf volume of trade. This link will take you to the ECU board for Alpha.
You are right that the markets are getting more corrupt and less visible and dominated by computers with less credibility and transparency than ever before. The numbers from Alpha are not tabulated with TSX numbers and the decision where to input your offer is made by your broker's trade desk.
The only option is to complain to TD in this case, complain to the exchange for how transactions are not transparent, complain to regulators that they are idiots and incompetant or worse simply don't care. Complain to government for the inadequacy of protecting the rights of people and offering free and transparent markets. I've done them all and you can see the results, I wasted my time. Makes one wonder if the Lybians and Egyptians aren't showing the world more courage and direction than the so called western civilized world, maybe the way forward is revolution in the west in a serious way as nothing seems to ever change for the good and banks more than ever control the world. One world government whether you agree or not, is this how freedom ends with everyone sleeping and watching reallity crap or tweeting and twittering.
BTW, Alpha is owned by the big banks and actually competes with the TSX for trades.
