From Ed Steer's column re: Utah state passing bill to recognize Gold and Silver as legal tender.
Great to see individual states being pro-active.
However, one point that is not clear.
Will the state only recognize, as stated in the news release, gold and silver coins, and will they recognize them for their measured weight, or just their "coinage stated value" i.e. $5.00 for one ounce of silver and $50.00 for one ounce of gold.
Does anyone have anything clarifying the approved Bill?
