Last week you mentioned your conversation with the ECU people at the PDAC and assured us that they were aware of the manipulation of their stock. You said that they are not worried and that we shouldn't be worried either. You did not want to get into any detail because information was "sensitive". There has been mention on this board in the past that companies like ECU might be taking too passive a stance in this matter and that they should be joining hands to complain to the regulators about this blatant situation.
Can you not be a little more disclosing and tell us just what sort of correction ECU's management envisages that allows them to be unworried and to cause you to feel the same way? Are they going to take some action? Is their industry group going to do so? Are the regulators doing something we don't know about? The lack of any public anger on the part of the companies whose shares are being manipulated seems very strange, and frustrating, indeed.
