The tsunami's due here (LA) about 8:30 PST; I would think not too much energy is left, as it has dissappated as it spreads out. I wouldn't be standing on a jetty or a pier, but odds are it will be a non-event.

The videos last night of that wave hitting Japan were unbelievable - sweeping away everything, fortunately, looked like a lot of farm land got hit hard, but there'll be quite a loss of life. The Japanese are pretty well prepared. I heard one of their nuclear plants could have a problem, though.

The recent economic news out of China is of concern. If that economic engine falters, we all will have problems.

It's weird to see silver hit hard and still be near $35!!
