I notice that roughly half the stocks on the HUI and XAU are up and half down, sort of sluggishly flat, sort of bothersome, but most of my juniors are way up. All green plus. Even ECU! Maybe junior short covering, a junior algorithm switch, funds taking new positions, deep pockets seeing the light or Blythe setting us up for another sucker punch?

Beats me, but I'm surprised at how calm I am watching what used to be a couple year's pay vanish one day and reappear the next. I'd have panicked not too many year's ago but now just yawn and open another beer. I've been conditioned into taking volatility in stride. So far so good.
