I watched the documentary "Inside Job" last night, and saw first-hand, the meddling of politicians and what they think of those that vote them in to power (not all, but definitely those that are in control).

I also note that those same politicians who are impoverishing the people, want to confiscate their guns, have already found ways to restrict their ability to grow their own food, made them totally dependent on what the government decides, and, like you say, finds a way to send the impoverished children off to fight their battles.

Most average people would not know how to survive without government handouts. How sad is that?

Wonder how many of the "upper echelon's" children go off to fight.
