Yes....something is very wrong here. I keep asking myself why an institition would play this on the short side when they had all the fundamentals in place to run this stock and others far to the north. Why crash a stock from $1.45 to $.95 (a 34.5% return) during a period where silver moves from $30 to over $40 (between the beginning of December, 2010 and today)? That type of move in Silver could have easily resulted in a 100% plus move in ECU up to the $3.00 area.....and the institutions profits would have been much larger than they may have made on the short side.
What motivates this type of shorting?.....seems wrong to me in many, many ways.
Let's flip this thing around.....imagine if ECU had moved from $1.45 a share to $3.00 a share as silver fell from $30.00 to $20.00 over a 4 month time period. Crazy....
