Not the usual, Hobbers - that Standard & Poors' outlook is serious. Of course, it could have been issued a couple of years ago, and the content is of no surprise to anyone here (other than the surprise that they finally went public with it). Not only will this "news" cut a broad swath through US markets, all markets will suffer greatly. No where to hide for now, except short positions and negatively correlated issues.

Hopefully, the PM's and miners will catch their balance before most, but just about everyone, everywhere is going to get knocked for a loop.
