Sitting here watching the silver mining equities continue to underperform the Silver price is surreal in many regards. Today I am particularly interested in SLW's underperformance. With Silver up 2.23% and the Dow up 1.44%, SLW is down over 1%. SLW has been the bellweather Silver stock yet it is down 10% from its 52 week high on a day that Silver has hit a new multi Decade high (in terms of the current value of the Dollar) and Gold has exceeded $1,500 for the first time ever.

Somebody is trading as if they know the future and they know Silver will be coming down in price. Silver is less expensive as a percentage of the Dow today than at anytime between 1980 and 1986. I believe Silver is undervalued at these price levels yet many are mislead because silver is priced in Dollars. Well...the dollar is falling so fast in value that basing investment decisions on the dollar value of anything means less and less everyday.

Things feel very strange.....
