I don't think Paul Van Eden has left the precious metals scene. Earlier this year he became board of director at Miranda Gold. I've also noticed many of Paul's seedling junior recommendations from the mid 2000's are showing up as top exploration picks in the most recent Casey newsletter. He is no longer in the public eye but still very involved in the precious metals markets. I remember that quote that Paul made back then and it truely bothered me. Seeing it today bothers me even more and probably indicates why he isn't public any longer.
