Did you just write that? LOL! Couldn't resist, Coach, but I do agree with your sentiments.
I'll use a golf phrase many are familiar with to describe today - "a little whipped cream on s__t." (Used when one holes a 30 footer for a triple bogey.)
Hopefully, it's enough whipped cream to stabilize things and get us started in the right direction again. But with this much volatility, it's difficult to figure.
There is a theory that when a market has huge volatility up and down after a run, it signals a reversal of that run. We may have seen that in silver, but kinda like when you run your DVR is superspeed.
