Frankly speaking, I think this is far too late and the dumbest thing you can do. Look where the HUI:Gold ratio is and you will notioce that these long the PM/short the PM miners spreads have led to an all time low in the HUI:Gold ratio.

They want us to be in despair and it seems they are achieving it. Price/earnings of the producing miners has gone down from 15-35 historically to probably 5-15 now, basically thanks to the SLV/GLD alternative and lots of short selling.

I am not going to fall into that trap and expect the next cycle to be for the miners versus the metals.
