Jitney (99) owns the small bids at .92/.95. It is too early to conclude anything about the opening with two hours to go. This can/will change up to the very minute before the opening. Nonetheless, I thought followers might like an update.
If Friday's after-market spike is completely associated with Van Eck's reallocation of the GDXJ Index, then we may lose some of the gain quickly since the "one time" buy program would be completed. That is, unless this escalation alerts other "fence sitters" to step up and buy ECU now. We have at least one, if not two, potentially significant events shortly ahead of us and if the naked-shorts continue to "dig in," they do so at their own peril.
