Hi coach et.al.
FYI (if you are interested – I like to get to know who has control over my interests – cockerel’s rule #2 – Easiest thing to do, is spend other people’s money)
Doing some additional DD on AUM and see that their CEO and CFO were board members in charge of Apex when they filed for Chapter 11. Hope their MO has been tempered somewhat.
One positive, at least as far as myself is concerned, is Robert Blakestad; a similar type of individual to Michel Roy. He was CEO and President of International Taurus; a previous "gem" of mine.
His path seemed to mirror that of ECU in that he controlled a very favourable property (Fenelon) with little or no funding, and ended up making a deal with American Bonanza. They in turn, shelved his project, and concentrated their funds on their own “Copperstone” project. And this is another of my concerns i.e. with AUN burn rate, will they decide to use existing infrastructure at Velardena to help fund their other projects?
Another personal concern I have, is falling into my own trap, as per cockerel's rule #8 - Do not let small details cloud the big picture.
Outlook - Positive but guarded going forward (cockerel’s rule #3 – Always protect the downside).
Just to let you know, I have 20 rules that have always kept me grounded - three referred to here.
Good Luck to all!
