I think out of loyalty and familiarity with ECU, I can understand everyone who opposes this merger. I think it's a pretty decent deal for both sides, and sure, managment from both sides may cash in nicely, one way or the other, but as long as we get our fair shot at fully developing out property, and so long as the existing AUMN properties don't turn out to be a bust, then we have the opportunity to finally ring up the kind of profits (paper or actual) which were enjoyed by shareholder back in the days of $3.00+ prices.
Not much buying out there, and that surely sounds familiar, but we may now be able to force the issue with the cash. Won't be overnight, but soon enough.
