AUM also owns a chunk of La Platosa, run by EXN. I think they get a NSR or something based on production that contributes some revenue every quarter. Its not much but it will add up, along with earnings from Velardena once they get that mine retuned and can start generating a profit.
To me the best part of this merger is that AUM will be able to raise tens of millions of dollars when necessary and only issue a few million shares. Dilution will not be a problem and I do not see the same potential for hostile funds to recycle paper and hold the stock in a range. I was short AUM last year and lost money. The tight float makes it very dangerous to short.
cheers!
