Just another "all hat and no cattle" Texan!!!

Silver keeps rolling, but the PM shares, keep having trouble. Boy, this has got to change one of these days. The PM's have been very impressive.

And this whole debt ceiling drama is somewhat surreal, given what many believe is at stake. Of course, the "many" are often wrong.

I think it would be pretty easy to do some really signifcant things in the social security and medicare area, and even in the defense area, but these politicians are afraid to breathe.

The only silver lining out of this drama, is that it has likely forced more lawmakers (not to mention pundits and some of the public) to actually study this area, and to listen to some knowledgeable consultants on just how bad things are and how much worse they might become if action is not taken. Of course, that's far from a guaranty that anything good will come of that, but we have as good a shot now as ever.
