More talk about the Cartel losing control (if you read this board exclusively, you'd conclude that the Cartel has lost control and is on its last legs about 50 times over the last 3 or 4 years).

The way I look at it, is if the Cartel is able to orchestrate these attacks, then they probably can make a whole lotta money each time they do it, since, theoretically, they "know" which way the market is headed in the very short term. Yes, I can see that they may lose money as the result of silver and gold having continued to rise, but it seems that they may be able to more than make up for that with targeted strikes. They can go long or they can go short, and with the kind of abrubt moves we've seen in PMs, it seems as though they can be highly profitable. Perhaps that is why they are still in business, and reports of their demise continue to be greatly exaggerated.
