ECU's resources are made up of Silver----Gold --- and base metals... So Silver Equivalent Ounces are just one way for ECU to convert the value of their Silver and Gold resources into one measurable entity. Since ECU is looked at as a silver miner they like to state their resources in silver equivalents. If the were in the gold catigory they would most likely refer their resources at gold equivalent.
