The 16th of the month is usually a big day since the U.S. gov pays interest on their bonds and military checks on the 15th. That is usually about $60 billion that looks for a new home on the 16th. Silver used to have an 80% chance of a 1% move and a 40% chance of a 2% move on the 16th, and that was before the volitility that we have had the last 6 months or so. Could be up or down, but almost always volitile.
