I am encouraged by the metals performance today even more. There were several failed counterattacks today for both gold and silver, and each have ended the session near the highs. Gold has posted yet another all-time high today.

It appears a margin increase and carpet bombing with paper metals contracts will be the last best option for the Cartel to arrange a takedown before COMEX expiry this week, and even that will probably be rejected within a day or two.

Some of the metals bubble crowd are becoming more shrill this week too. Reputations are on the line at this point. And still hardly any interest or enthusiasm from the retail investors, so to me this is as far from a bubble as we can get.
