The mint says there is ample silver supply but the production can not keep up with the demand. If this is the case, then why are they going to resume minting the 1/2 ounce coins first instead of the 2 or 5 oz? They could supply alot more silver to the market if they produced the 5 ounce instead. Should we believe what they say or what they do? The 1/2 ounce likely has a much bigger mark up and will further reduce demand from people buying for the bullion instead of the nuismatic value.
