Being ever the skeptic, and also having been a penny stock broker (salesman) and principal back in the 80's (so I have a little knowledge of these thin markets), what I think is happening now is that part of the "deal' to put this together was to allow the "friends" of ECU to somehow convert their shorts to AUM or cover with a block of cheap ECU stock right at the end of trading. Now my take is that AUM is laying off the bids to allow some "friends" to cross positions on the cheap to also cover and build a long before they tell the world just how good a deal this is. So bottom line is what is happening is good news longterm, but shortterm it looks like the same ole s**t!
