Ok it looks like the 'i's have been dotted and the 't's crossed and this merger is finally complete as I have my tradable shares in my account now. As of today I am officially and finally an AUM shareholder :)

NOW... lets blow the lid off this joint. I've already noticed the difference in the way AUM trades, I have a strong feeling that this will be a very different entity and that perhaps we have shed some of the filth from our backs. Thanks god for that. But let's see it prove itself out, not just theory but action.

I'm not sure how the rest of you feel, as we still represent a fairly large shareholding of the newco, but I would like to finally see some of those drill results. There are only so many 'technical difficulties' one can encounter. They must know if we have hit a mother lode or not, so please let us and the world know. We on this board have speculated this topic to death, take us out of our misery!

If, as we suspect they have, I hope AUM will do a little shock and awe tactic here... release the drill results, release a few other results from our other properties (I suspect they have held back on a fair amount of news), release detailed multi-year project plans for a big ass mine, show some strong hands by showing us some big money placements to assist in those plans (on top of cash at hand)... put whatever you can out there in the media to get some attention that this is not your fathers ECU, this is a serious contender to become a major producer. On top of all the above, it seems we have a firm wind at our back these days as the money seems to be finally flowing in our direction. The removal of more ‘safe haven’ currencies will only expedite this (I’m sure Norway and Japan will follow the Swiss as the Swiss have proven that David can stand up to Goliath… at least for a few weeks, as illogical as the move may seem)

I suspect that done right we could lift ourselves to 40 bucks a share rather quickly. That would repay some very long longs their patience and perseverance in this stock. I for one have been pretty 'all in' on this story for a long time, even building my new house without having to dip into this stock. That was not easy. I'm sure othrs have plenty of other stories... this stock represents a great deal to a lot of people, some of them with less time to be able to wait then others ( :+)

I'd really like to thank the board of ECU for this move. I have no idea what situation we were in behind the scenes, but I suspect there was not a lot of wriggle room left. Expansion of the shares in issue was almost impossible without losing respectability completely and we had the mother of all shorts resting firmly on our backs. This was a great deal for both companies and I for one will be checking my mail constantly to see what this new entity will communicate.

Also let me say how entralled I am that the majority, if not all, of the main posters are still on board. Way to show solidarity guys.

Now lets make some real MONEY. The folks in this stock understand the way our world currently works and we're in this for the true value metals represent, so lets prove it.
