Vancouver Sun weekend edition front page headline was "Silver Tsunami"

I thought - wow could it be they are talking PM's. Nope the article was re: Baby Boomers heading into retirement.

One thing PM of note, also in Vancouver Sun, on a full back page, was an ad for SELLING gold - first time I've seen that flip - always it is the 'cash for gold' type of ads.

I don't think it's anything to worry about. It reminds me of a few years back when gold crossed $1K for the first time. Most news reports in Canada were all excited about our dollar being at parity with the $USD. CBC ran a 'front page' article on it's website (weekend edition mind you) where the writers opinion was clearly that gold was a buy - the title was something "forget the dollar, buy gold". I wonder how many people listened to the suggestion. CDN dollar is still at parity - USD gold is $1775/oz.

Gold "weaker" again today - must be a be a big week for the Prez and Fed!
