The amazing thing about these protests is that the are economically driven and for the first time are not soley liberal, conservative, racial, or religious. The top 1% hold 45% of the wealth in the U.S. which is way out of balance when compared to other developed countries. If it was the lazy people protesting they would protest Washington as this is where their bread is buttered. No, it is the working class and the people who want to work but can't find work and people like us who work until May to pay our taxes much of which was given to these bankers. The U.S. already spends twice what it collects most of which is given to non workers to keep them from protesting. Now the people who are paying the bills are protesting. The formula that has worked for the government since FDR is now in the process of breaking. Watch gold soar as the world says Houston we have a problem.
An interesting history is that the biggest riots in the U.S. were in New York when men resisted the conscription into the Civil War. Over 1800 protesters were killed. Now the government instead of fighting to free slaves is fighting against freedom of assembly and is fighting to keep workers economically enslaved.
