Great speech indeed!
Who says the young are uninformed and uninterested? It's interesting how many in the media try paint these protesters as lazy, career troublemakers. The reality, as many here know, is there is a growing alienation between citizens and their "representatives" in government, who seem to answer only to banking, corporate and military interests that sponsor their political aspirations.
The protesters are also unfairly labeled at anti-capitalists. I certainly did not get that message from this young man. Instead, I heard a man frustrated with the growing inequality between the banking and corporate elites versus the common citizen.
Taxation without representation...that is exactly what triggered the original Boston Tea Party revolt.
