I too, awake each day, with gratitude, beside my lovely wife, in a beautiful house, with everything we could ever want... My cup indeed runneth over; however, my own happiness is not the subject originally under discussion...

As Rome burned, there were many who had a great party. Many were wealthy and fat from the years of empire and conquest. There also must have been many who said...

"Rome will be great again!...Just give it twenty years.."

Those people were what I like to describe as.....wrong.

Of course we all have HOPE for our children and their children, that they will be able to survive, and to retain the wealth and standard of living that we here have attained for ourselves...

But for the majority, the party is over...no matter who becomes the next Ceasar.

Their futures have been spent into debt. I grieve for them.
