So called New york centric financial types have been calling for a collapse of China for years and of course it's absurd to see over 9% growth and make suggestions that China is collapsing like they do. Show me any government in the last 15 years in the West that has deliberately tried to slow down growth through various means to reign in inflation or made purchasing real estate a pretty much cash only deal in a few areas like China has, it hasn't happened and maybe never ever happened.

I really only watch 2 things to gauge the prospects for China, iron ore shipments and coal shipments, knowing this is about all one needs to know to have an intelligent view. Watching Chinese copper levels or even listening to what they say about copper is useless as this market can be price manipulated compared to the other 2 mentioned and China is a master at manipulating what they need to. BTW, the coal and iron ore shipments are strong. It's my guess that China will open the spigotts again soon just after Europe and the US start printing once again.
