Roughly, without factoring in currency changes, that November 10, 2010 ECU.TO shares price is somewhat comparable to a $25 AUMN share price today.

A year ago today, November 3, 2010, SLV closed at $24.25. A week later, November 10, 2010, SLV closed at $26.72, a 10% gain in 7 calendar days.

Hence, ECU's 71% one week move a year ago related to something more than just Silver's 10% move.

Going back a year, who would have thought it possible for ECU to lose roughly 2/3rds of its value as SLV moved from $24.25 to $33.62, as the company proved up new resources and merged with another entity eliminating its short term cash issues.

Let's hope today is the very beginning of some sort of reasonableness when it comes to this entity's valuation.
