Sinbob I don't mind that Gartman takes a traders view and sells but he makes some outlandish statements on national cable TV that some would take as gospel and he never tells anyone that his view could change in the next 24-48 hours. In otherwords his view should be qualified based on the fact he is a momentum trader and changes his view like the weather changes and just like the weather is unpredictable.

Most know that I take a medium to longer term view so when I buy I'm not thinking about next week or next month or even 12 months hence but core positions must be accumulated when they are on serious sale when you are confident they have the goods like Golden Minerals does. There will be a big payday down the road for those who buy low and build their investments over time with quality companies with large resources and emerging producers like Golden. This has always been true and will always be true no matter how much algorithym trading occurs or how much shorting happens. Most hate the shorts and I must admit I'm not to fond either but this is guaranteed future buying and for sure they will be buying in the future.

I didn't buy anymore stock in AUM today but was on the bid. I am very effectively layering my buys over the last few months but looking towards the future for my upside. Fortunately I have the option of this approach.
