I guess no-one is absolutely "lilywhite" these days.

Not even Ron Paul.

Tonight I had to ask myself whether I was guilty of "double standards" after watching CNN (see link below).

Why?

Well, I was making all kinds of excuses to myself, trying to defend what Ron Paul was being accused of.

Guess what?

I, in all honesty, could not defend him, other than to say this:

Societies change!

Countries change!

Beliefs change!

Attitudes change (I know. I have gone this metamorphosis route myself)

One thing that does NOT change, however, is the TRUTH.

I believe that Ron Paul is too old and too honourable, to have to go through the next twelve months trying to stave off any kind of personal attacks by the media.

My advise to him is this:

"America is too far gone for you to save her, and rather than have your career be subjected to any kind of degradation that these reports will dredge up, whether they are true or not, I suggest you quit the race immediately and leave America to whatever fate befalls her. It will not be pretty, and she seems to want to commit "Hari Kiri"(with the able assistance of the MSM), and no words, or deeds of wisdom, will steer her from her destiny.
