$6 trillion in 1934 - that's a lot of treasure, even for battleships to carry! I've seen stories from world press, not US press, saying these bonds are forgeries, and I don't buy into the theory that the bonds are genuine, gee, why wouldn't have any country made a claim before this? Cuz they had to find the bonds first? Where is Indiana Jones when you need him?
But, if it is true, has the US also squandered all of that gold, too? Cuz, I think it should somehow dovetail with the notion that the US has way less gold than it claims. Of course, the US, knowing that they stole the gold, might be keeping it off the balance sheet.
Maybe the gold represents the money owed to Armstrong?
