My reply was kind of tongue in cheek as well, don't worry. I think the problem many of us have is that the end of the suppression will probably come when TPTB loose control of the situation, and not when they decide to play another game. We realise that while this will be good for the PMs and for us financially, it will be very, very bad for society in general. It's likely to be a major "be carefull what you wish for" event.
